Brot für die Welt (Bread for the World) is part of a global movement that is working for change worldwide: we advocate for a just world in which everyone lives in dignity, has equal rights, resources are fairly shared and planetary boundaries are respected today and in the future.

Our perception of ourselves as Christians shapes our commitment and gives us hope that we can make a difference. Alongside our more than 1,600 partner organisations, we enable disadvantaged people in over 80 countries around the world to sustainably improve their living conditions through their own efforts. We believe in human rights, peace, a strong democracy and access to education, health and water. We are committed to combating hunger, poverty and the consequences of climate change. And we speak out for a just world.
